WinterWyman Executive Search has placed Peter Abreu as US Controller at Forensic Risk Alliance (FRA), a provider of forensic and investigative professional support services. WinterWyman Executive Search's Senior Vice Presidents and Partners Ken Martin and Robin Daman led the search.
As FRA's US Controller, Abreu will support the Company’s growth through leadership and execution of accounting operations. As a "player and a coach," Abreu will use his passion for transformation to design internal controls and processes to increase efficiencies, provide management insight on data along with results, and oversee the selection and implementation process of a new ERP solution. Abreu will also lead and continue to develop the accounting capabilities and internal controls for this fast-paced, highly profitable, PE-backed firm with significant e-delivery and data storage revenue streams and global offices. He will also write and/or maintain all financial and accounting policy documents to ensure GAAP compliance and strong internal controls and protection of Company assets and create documentation for operational practices that positions the accounting and finance function to efficiently and effectively support the business as it scales.
Prior to joining FRA, Abreu was the Director of Finance for Atrion, Inc., a Carousel Industries Company and leading IT services firm. Previously, he was the North American CFO/ Director of Finance for US and LATAM and Treasurer of US Companies for K2 Partnering Solutions, a global IT staffing firm. Before joining K2, Abreu was the Director of Accounting for Destination XL Group (NASDAQ: DXLG) and the Controller at Ross-Simons.
