A Little About Me

The one piece of advice I always give to employers or job seekers is:

I have spent the majority of my career assisting the job seeker. The one piece of advice I find myself saying often is: have patience. Continue to do the things that will lead you to your next job i.e. networking, sending resumes out, working with your recruiter, interviewing, etc., and know that it will happen.

The biggest mistake I see employers or job seekers make is:

One suggestion I would make to employers is to more often consider the potential of a candidate. No one person is going to check every single box for the position that needs to be filled. Just as in life, there needs to be some give and take and understanding that nothing is the perfect fit. There are, however, really great fits, with excellent potential to become an even better fit for the position and organization. In short – have an open mind.

The favorite part of my job is:

My role has evolved and what I love now is that I am able to work in a couple of ways to help WinterWyman, as well as job seekers. My position is two-fold: I assist in finding new job seekers that we can help, and I am also the first person potential new employees speak to about internal openings with WinterWyman. I love the variety.
