A Little About Me

The one piece of advice I always give to employers or job seekers is:

Be as honest as possible. Interviewees and interviewers often feel a need to sell themselves at the expense of the truth, and whereas this is not always intentional, it can misrepresent what is expected by either party. The more accurately a job or a candidate can be represented, the better the placement will ultimately be.

The biggest mistake I see employers or job seekers make is:

Job seekers: it is important to interview the company as much as they are interviewing you. A candidate might think they are simply there to answer questions, then wait for a response with whether or not their answers landed them a job. A job posting doesn’t contain 100% of the information you’ll want to know. Showing up with some well thought out questions in hand will not only give you more insight as to what you’re interviewing for, it shows a personal interest and commitment to the opportunity.

The favorite part of my job is:

The people I work with every day.

My personal interests are:

Snowboarding, boating, and automobiles have been some of my longest winded past times.
