At WinterWyman, not only are we dedicated to helping our candidates and clients grow, but we are committed to being a good corporate citizen. We feel strongly that our firm and employees have been fortunate in their careers and educational opportunities and that we have an obligation to give back to those who have been less fortunate.
We are extremely proud that 90% of our employees participate in company-sponsored community service activities or drives during work hours and personal time. Such acts range from playing games with the patients at a local children’s hospital to serving lunch for poor and homeless women to organizing birthday parties at a nearby shelter to planting and weeding at a sustainable farm.
Last year alone, we participated in nearly 78 community development events, fulfilled the holiday wish lists of 50 area children, held several drives (for clothing, toys and food), awarded eight educational and charity grants and put in nearly 1200 volunteer hours. We also held our annual Community Development Day where our employees volunteered at a Boston-area charity. We also awarded our ninth annual holiday donation to Comfort Zone Camp, a non-profit bereavement camp that transforms the lives of children who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling, or primary caregiver.
